Spiky Moss

Spiky Moss (Taxiphyllum sp. ‘Spiky’) is a distinctive aquatic moss prized for its unique appearance and versatility in aquascaping. Originating from Southeast Asia, it features elongated, spiky fronds that grow in dense clusters, resembling miniature pine trees. Spiky Moss is relatively easy to care for and can thrive in a wide range of aquarium conditions. It can be attached to rocks, driftwood, or other aquarium decor, where it adds texture and visual interest to the aquascape. This moss provides excellent hiding places for fry and small fish and can help reduce algae growth by competing for nutrients. Regular pruning helps maintain its shape and encourages bushy growth.
